Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Texas Junk Brothers website and the junk removal, cleanout, and demolition services we provide across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. By requesting a quote, booking a job, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
We provide non-hazardous junk removal, light demolition, and full-property cleanouts in residential, commercial, and rental settings across DFW. Specific services we offer are described on our services page.
Quotes and pricing
- All quotes are estimates until confirmed in writing or verbally on-site.
- Final pricing is determined by the volume your items take in our truck, labor required, and any demolition involved. We confirm the price with you before any lifting begins.
- The State of Texas requires 8.25% sales tax on residential junk removal services. We include this in your written quote.
- Quotes are valid for a reasonable period after issuance and may be re-priced if actual job scope differs materially from what was described or photographed.
Scheduling and cancellation
- Same-day and next-day service is offered when our schedule allows. We'll confirm the appointment window when we book the job.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. We reserve the right to charge a trip fee for cancellations made after our crew has already dispatched to your location.
Customer responsibilities
- Ensure that an adult (18+) is available to authorize the work, or provide written authorization for access and pickup of items.
- Provide reasonable access to the items (driveway, gate, alley) and disclose any site conditions that could affect the job (stairs, narrow access, locked rooms).
- For hot tub removal and any work involving electrical service, ensure that a licensed electrician has disconnected the power at the panel before our arrival. For mobile home demolition, ensure that electric, water, gas, and septic services have been professionally disconnected.
- You represent that the items you ask us to remove are yours, or that you have the right and authority to dispose of them.
Items we do not accept
We do not haul hazardous waste, asbestos, pressurized refrigerants, biohazards, live ammunition, or explosives. A complete list is on our Items We Take page. If we discover such materials on-site, we may decline to haul them and refer you to an appropriate disposal resource.
Payment
- Payment is due on completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking. Receipts are provided upon request.
- For commercial customers and property managers, we can invoice on standard net-payable terms when agreed in writing.
Property and care
We treat your property with care. Despite our best efforts, minor scuffs or marks can occasionally occur when removing large or awkward items through tight spaces. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our crew's negligence, contact us within 48 hours and we'll work with you in good faith on resolution. We are insured for property damage caused by our operations.
Photo documentation
We may take photos of the job site before, during, and after the work for our records, for property management documentation, and occasionally for marketing (without identifying personal information). If you do not want photos used for marketing, tell us at the time of booking and we will respect that preference.
Limitation of liability
Except as required by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising out of services performed is limited to the amount paid by you for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Website use
The content on our website is provided for general information. We do our best to keep it accurate, but we make no warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, or currentness. Service availability and pricing are subject to change.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Dallas County, Texas.
Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
